We get asked ALL the time, how much stretch do you need for a baby's head.
After doing so many baby bands, I think we have definitely got it down:)
For a newborn take take home bow 12 inches.. Remember, this is to match that take home outfit which won't last very long, but it is a keepsake since this is what she is wearing for when she does come home!
0-3 months 14 inches .. This will be a little big at first, but they will be growing so fast, you will get some use out of them.
3-15 months 15 inches..
2-4 years 16 inches
tweens, teens, and older sizes will vary, however 16 1/2 to 17 inches are a good estimate
These are only guidelines for most of the stretch we carry. On our grosgrain stretch (which is on sale for 99 cents/yard) I always like to recommend a little longer than what is listed, due to the fact it has a tighter stretch than our laces and european stretch.
