Inspiring People....

I love working on Saturdays. I really do, we tend to have mostly new customers, brides, mother and daughters,  and couples coming in that can't really make in during the week.  The reason why I like to work these days is it gives me a chance to meet new people and to hear about what their needs are, what is going on in their life, etc.it is quite interesting, sometimes I feel like the show CHEERS...but in a ribbon sort of way :)

For instance, today, a couple came in that have four boys, and are getting ready to adopt a baby girl from the Ukraine.  What is interesting and inspiring about them is that one of their sons have down syndrome along with other medical complications, and the baby they are adopting from the Ukraine also has down syndrome. What I really loved about them, is that in addition of their responsibility of raising their family, they are also giving back.
They make blankets and send them all over the world for children in need. How wonderful is that?
